I made one of those some years ago. Here is what I've got on it:
Handshaking Cable
IIc DIN-5 Modem DB-25 Male
1-------------------4 RTS 1
2-------------------2 TxD 3
3-------------------7 Gnd 4
4-------------------3 RxD 5
5-------------------5 CTS 2
Without Handshaking
IIc DIN-5 Modem DB-25 Male MiniDin IIc Plus
1-------------------20 DTR-------------------------1
2-------------------2 TxD -------------------------3
3-------------------7 Gnd ------------------------4
4-------------------3 RxD -------------------------5
5-------------------6 DSR or Pin 8, DCD. ---------2
I'm pretty sure the info on the IIc Plus is good, because I figured it out
myself and made a working cable. I'm less sure of the IIc info. I remember
it was a challenge. I wasn't too worried about getting a fast connection,
since the files are small and I was just working with floppies anyway.
