You will need the drive with auto-insertion mechanism (it "sucks" the disk
in when you attempt to insert a disk.) Most (if not all) PowerMacs use
manual-insertion mechanisms (it requires you to push the disk all the way
into the drive.) The built in GS port will treat the drive as 800k
regardless if it supports 1.44. For that you will need the Super Drive card.
