Mike just (not so subtly) redirected you, that's all. How is ignoring an
off-topic post more helpful than a redirect? Short answer: it isn't.
The nice thing about posting to a newsgroup with the correct topic is
that your chances of getting the _correct_ answer increase
substantially. When dealing with hardware, especially, an incorrect
could cause damage. Caveat emptor applies to advice, too.
