Hi folks, Thanks for the advice. I have been using this computer a
very long time. I am not an enthusiast, I just want to keep using it.
Last time I checked locally, the ISP's in this locality wanted at
least 33.6 for a dial up speed. With the dot com melt down, I did not
think to look to non major ISP's, being in the bay area we usually
don't look to an east coast provider. I am amazed that they have
local dial up lines. Considering what I have been told, I doubt I am
the fool that Jalapeno desired to flame. At the same time, if you
folks want to keep the II alive you need to positively help people
with questions, not prove a lack of manners. My problem is
connectivity in a world hostile to old computers. Everyone needs some
help sometimes, it looks like this is not the place to ask a simple
question.
