Re: Getting online with Apple ][... ProTerm ???

Most local BBS's can be accessed using a IIe, IIc,or IIgs with a
com program such as ProTERM. Some local BBS's have an Internet Menu
that allows you to telnet and FTP from the system.

There are sites that allow you access to Lynx via telnet. See:
http://www.trill-home.com/lynx/public_lynx.html

Now you are in a position to access www.a2central.com with your
Apple II using Lynx. There you can find many links to sites of
interest to Apple II users.

To find those local BBS's:
1. Talk to your friends.
2. Contact a local computer users group.
3. Do a Google search using BBS + the name of your city.
