Clone Apple II plus motherboard

In the early 80s, my uncle built a clone Apple II plus. I still have the
motherboard, it worked the last time I tried it. I don't think he designed
the schematics, however. He did have the board made and put it together.
(Using facilities at the JPL where he worked at the time.)

The specs: 64K of main memory (integrated language card). Slot 0 is for a
ROM card. Slot 4 does not exist, as this board has a built-in
SoftCard-compatible Z80, which appears to software as being in slot 4! The
board has all the standard Apple II+ connectors near the appropriate
places. The ROM card has the Apple II+ ROMs. This board will fit in a
standard Apple II/II+ case. It doesn't have the video and cassette jacks,
as there were wires soldered to the pads on the board, because the case was
just a metal box, and the jack had to be placed externally.

My question is, has anyone seen a board like this before? I used to have
the schematics, but they've been lost over several moves. I'd be
interested in getting a new copy, if they exist.
