The problem is indeed the lack of software for a //e that could support
P2P file sharing protocols.
Others have described how you can access files _on a PC_ with
a networked //e, but it's much harder to get the //e to support
a PC accessing files on the //e. Symmetrical sharing requires
that both machines be not only clients, but also _servers_, and
that is a big gulp of complexity for a //e--with limited speed and
memory. I'd love to see this happen, but I'm not holding my
breath... ;-)
