As others have pointed out, the MS-DOS FST is on the System 6.0.1
disks and only allows you to read MS-DOS disks.

However, to clarify, the MS-DOS FST can only read MS-DOS formatted
floppies (the 720KB and 1.44MB disk already mentioned).  It cannot
read PCTransporter hard drive images or anything else formatted with
MS-DOS such as a Zip cartridge.  To use the later and to allow you to
write to and format MS-DOS disks, you want to use Peter Watson's
MS-DOS Utilities or his MUG! New Desk Accessory.
