Would a Mac of some type offer up the same power supply?  I don't know, 
but the IIGS case certainly looked like one of the post Mac II cases, and 
thus perhaps used the same power supply.

I've told this story before, I once got to a garage sale, about 1995, and 
someone had just grabbed a computer I'd never seen in person before.  He 
opnes the case, is puzzled why there are no SIMMs in there.  I tell him 
"It's an Apple IIGS" or something like that, but he goes on his way 
thinking he got some deal (I don't know the price) an some exotic Mac II 
model.  I actually bumped into him the next week, so odd, and he said "it 
wasn't a Mac".  I told him that.
