Personally, I find the large capacity CF and USB devices to be awfully useful with my CFFA3000. I loaded up a 4 GB CF card with every hard drive image I could find. I never have to swap out my CF card, and can easily change the setup to boot from a different image whenever I'm so inclined. Meanwhile, I've loaded up an 8 GB USB key with just about every floppy image I have, organized into subdirectories. With the newest firmware, I can easily load those into virtual disk drives and boot from them. The CFFA3000's optional remote switches let me assign multiple images to each virtual drive and swap them with the press of a button, so disk swapping is a lot simpler than in the old days, and I'm able to use NIB images on the actual hardware that are virtually impossible to write back to actual floppies. Obviously I could use smaller CF and USB capacities, but its nice to know I'm in no danger of running out of space.
