Yeah, I know, and I hope to get one to test. I only asked because the Samsung monitors mentioned by others above _did_ have the SCART connector in the US, and people are happily using these with their GSs.
VGA I doubt, but I suppose component might work with a converter:

With standardization of digital TV and devices outputting only in VGA, DVI or HDMI, I feel that soon (maybe now) we'll see the last generation of TV/Monitors that support component input.
