Maybe we could file a collective complain with PayPal. I'm sure they don't want someone fooling around with their customers, just making money using questionable methods via PayPal.
Otherwise they would start to have the same bad status as the well known scams from people asking for money transfers via Western Union on Craigislist, for example.
Usually I don't bother when such things happen, but this kind of thing on an prestigious Apple II discussion list is bad for everybody in the community and not only for those who lost money. Scams via this list is bad business for all of us.
I'm not saying that Conrad is a scammer, but if he doesn't step forward giving us any update on what is happening we have to infer the worst, unfortunately. And I'd rather have the accelerator board, instead of this unnecessary headache.
What are your suggestions? Is there a way to collectively try to get our money back?
