Antoine, we share that same memory, but I think you'd have more time to pursue the project.  I also keep a QuickTake 100, in case such a project comes into fruition. I think the IIgs is more than capable of interfacing with it.  A link I kept at hand for working on such is http://www.gphoto.org/proj/libgphoto2/support.php

The QuickTake 200 is listed, but I don't know how different the protocol is from that of the 1xx series.
