Hi

I have an Apple 5.25" Drive (A9M0107)that can't be calibrated. Even if I turn the little screw in one direction or the other, all the calibration tests are way off the charts.

I cleaned the head but it didn't change anything.

I found tutorials on how to repair a DISK DRIVE II but none about the A9M0107.

Do you know some please?

It's the same physical mechanism, so more guides won't help. There may be something going wrong on the analog board. Are there any outward symptoms? Does it sound "normal" when you turn the power on and it attempts to boot?
