Not to mention that the monoprice gadget is worthless for 80-column text from an Apple 2 or 2e. If anyone comes up with a composite --> VGA converter that properly handles ][, //e and //c composite video (color a bonus) to the point where I can use 80-col text screens on a modern LCD display I would gladly pay northwards of $100 for it.

There are a few converters that do an acceptable job with IIgs RGB out, but I have yet to find anything that's even remotely usable with composite out on any Apple 8-bit systems.

I have only a couple of working composite CRT monitors left and they are dropping fast.
