Excellent point!  If the program simply clears the "/x" and leaves you at
the "->" prompt, then it has done its job. No indication of correct
completion is provided. (I guess they tested on floppies, and the drive
activity provided sufficient indication of activity--with a hard drive, it
would be quietly done in a blink of its activity light!)
