I lost my Y-Cable for my IIe card :-(

I left my IIe card in someone else's Mac LC for several months and
left the cable with him. Apparently he didn't realize how precious
the cable was. So now I have my card back but I don't have the cable.
Am I basically screwed on this? Do I need to spend upwards of $100
just to get that cable?
I can't believe I lost it. What a miserable day.
