Last night, on AMC's zombie horror series, 'The Walking Dead', the Apple II sort of made an appearance... as background noise.

Early into the episode 'Home' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_%28The_Walking_Dead%29) the Governor walks into Milton's lab to speak with him. There are several background noises but after a few moments, you can hear the distinctive 'beep' of an Apple II and the head clatter of a Disk II drive and disk access noises that continue through a majority of the scene.

It's good to know that even during a zombie apocalypse, the Apple II is still there to help save mankind.
