A long time ago, a nice gentleman donated a spare //gs to me. I'm still jazzed about it, but it needed work to be useable. Thanks to another nice person, I now have a 256k (upgraded to 1mb) ram expansion and a mouse. And as of tonight, the battery on the motherboard was successfully replaced. So now I have a //gs that runs the way it was meant to.
Yay.
Nothing exciting to report that would affect anyone else yet, but I should note that this means I have a solid workhorse and a lot more motivation to make things that do stuff. ;-) More news on things that do stuff to follow soon... hopefully.
