Slightly OT: Is that a Radio-Shack proto-board? I'm curious how you were able to get such clean solder connections. Even with the use of flux I seem to have a lot of issues getting the solder to flow without lifting pads. It usually blobs up and will not completely "wet" the connection. RS seems to use the chintziest, thinnest cladding available on the planet and the lack of plating causes instant oxidation when the iron is applied.
I never have problems of this type with real PCBs.
