So, not only did I have to add "DINPUT8.DLL" to be able to run AppleWin, I found I had to add "MFC42.DLL" to the system to be able to run CiderPress. I was a little surprised to find that "MFC42.DLL" had to be put in the same directory as "CiderPress". Putting it in "...\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32" didn't work.

I see what you mean -- Well, there's always ApplePC. That ran nicely on old hardware. LinApple might be another good bet but I don't know how dated the source is -- seems it was updated back in March. Of course, if you have $40 to spend a Raspberry Pi might be capable of better and consume a lot less energy in the process. I wouldn't be surprised if Kegs ran on the Pi without issue though it might require some modification to the code to make it run off the direct framebuffer and ditch X-Windows altogether.
