The interface hardware is unchanged; the description is within a textfile in
the tarball on my website. Depending on how old your notes are, they might
have been delivered with an older version of the software written in a mix
of BASIC and assembly language. The current version is written in a mix of
C and assembly language (cross-compiled with cc65) and runs a fair bit
faster.
