Dumb question (perhaps) but I?m contemplating that my CFFA3000 takes a ride by plane as either carry-on or stowed-away luggage for an Australian domestic flight.

Not wanting to damage this precious addition to my IIGS ?working? arsenal, I realised?would putting it through airport security (i.e. scanning equipment) damage it in any way?

What are everyone's thoughts?

Are these still exrays? Nobody ever said electronics could be damaged by xrays (except for people who worried without any reason). There was concern about cameras, since the film could be fogged by the xrays, and a concern about magnetic medium (tapes, floppy disks) based on maybe there being a strong magent in there (and I'm not sure if that would be the case).

Endless stuff goes through those machines, you don't hear about damage to electronic equipment.
