Using a combination of DOS and the Monitor. First use the BLOAD command to
load the file into memory. Type BLOAD <filename>
Assuming these are high-res graphics screens, they will likely load into RAM
at locations between $2000 and $5FFF.
Open the Monitor by typing CALL -151 at the BASIC prompt. You will see the
cursor change to an asterisk.
To show some bytes of memory from this range, type 2000.2100 and press
Return. The dot separates the starting and ending addresses. If you see a
lot of different hex bytes on the screen, then it likely is the contents of
the file that you loaded with BLOAD.
To make another verification, activate the high-res screen with
soft-switches.
Still in the Monitor, type C050 to switch to graphics mode. This will change
your screen to graphics mode. Type C057 to ensure that high-res graphics
mode is selected. You should see some recognizable graphics if the file that
you BLOADed is in fact a normal graphic screen file.
If by chance the file loaded into graphics page 2, type C055 to check.
Press Control-C or reset the Apple to leave the Monitor and return to BASIC.
