and I am not going to be able to fit all of this in a tiny micro. some reason I was thinking it was a 1:1 disk transfer and that the original format of the disk was just transferred in the bitstream, but it really jumps though some hoops

is there a simpler way to copy a disk image file, how does the old dos version work?

I know if ADT doesnt make it, my project wont be sunk as the intended function of a VSdrive in a box works fine, but it sure would be a nice bonus feature.
