Are the gunslinger disks on Asimov any good, or do they get corrupted easily? I received an email from a fellow having trouble with the game and the second or third time I started the game, the picture window of the UI started displaying garbage instead of images. I switched to a fresh copy of the disks and the problem went away. Also, there seem to be issues a way into the game where you climb down a cliff -- the game tends to freeze a lot (looping through a routine that looks at $4000 - $40ff for non-zero or non-positive data non-stop) It seems to be a borked crack, because that area looks like it might be used as a disk i/o buffer by the game.
Anyone care to try it out? It could just be a buggy game, no?
