Re: Help remembering old text adventures
- Climbing a flagpole to enter a window, with the possibility of falling
and breaking your neck (game over!); vampires or werewolves were present.
Scott Adams' "The Count"
- Giving a comb to a mermaid in a tank so she could unknot her hair.
Scott Adams' "Mystery Fun House"
- A game opening by exiting a spacecraft that has just landed on an
alien planet. There may've been caves nearby.
Scott Adams' "Strange Odyssey"
"The Count" was released on Atari 8-bit computers with accompanying
graphics.
The other two were text-only adventures.
