Time Zone uses volume numbers to keep track of all its disk sides.  So while a .nib will work for that, a .2mg will work as well. When I imaged my Time Zone disks, I just converted the .dsk images to .2mg via CiderPress, and then set the volume numbers correctly.  (The TimeZone I have is from an old crack I did, without any added title screens or such; it was just to archive it.)

Does ADTPro handle .2mg images back to real disks, preserving the volume numbers?  If so, I can upload my TimeZone .2mg files to Asimov.  (It could be done perhaps by reading the volume number from the .2mg header and formatting the target disk before writing the sectors.)  Then you could create correct physical disks.

If not, then I think that working real disks can still be produced from .dsk (.2mg) images by creating physical copies for each side (all 12), and then use Bag of Tricks to re-init the disks with the correct volume number (using the preserve data option).  Bag of Tricks has this feature for changing volume numbers (IIRC, been a while).

This approach should work for anything that is normal 16-sector format, but just needs teh volume number touched up.  While most disks use 254, I encountered several that use an alternate (001 is common, as are a sequence for multi-sided programs).
