Yeah, my Duodrives each did 39 tracks. But, it was more than just a patch to ProDOS. the volume bitmap had to be modified from 280 blocks to 312, If I remember right, this is on track $0, sector $B on a 5.25" floppy, from 18 01 to 38 01 blocks.

To -michael I figured an 18-sector DOS or ProDOS was not feasible, since a whole-track method (without sectors) would need to be used. The ingeniousness of UniDOS and putting DOS 3.3 onto 4 logical 200k volumes of an 800k disk was sublime.
