Well, the 6502 can read 8 bits from the I/O address of the card. 2 of
these bits are BA and BS from 6809, other 2 are the 6809 HALT and RESET.
I would think that makes it easy to see what the 6809 is doing.

Yeah, tried that. After having the Mill send a halt or reset to itself, the bits were still high from the 6502 point of view.

I can try again next weekend.
