Alex.

I've connected a ton of different electronic devices to the apple II, to see if I could communicate to/through them.

It is kind of boring until you get something useful done with the communication. I can say "SIT" to my dog all day long, know he hears me by his ears twitching a bit, but ultimate satisfaction comes from him sitting down...

So, who is going to hack ADT to use the bluetooth card and put a video on Youtube?

Rich

ADT shouldn't need to be hack (at least the server end) since it will work with BT Serial adapters already.

I *had* an old pair of BT serial adapters that can be configured as a virtual cable. I used to use it all the time in data centers (mostly switch configuration) with my laptop until laptops had BT standard (then I only need one end of the virtual cable).

So you can use this tech today with a super serial card and a BT serial adapter. I was going to video it as a cool hack, but I cannot find any of my BT serial adapters (I had 3 or 4). I do not configure switches in data centers anymore so I stopped packing them in my bag and lost them over the years.

C'est la vie.
