This is the same guy that later created the popular "Apple II Oasis" 
emulator.

At the time of USDOS he was still in school.

Yes, I have used it. I don't think newer version was ever released, 
although back then the author should've had 2.0 in a very advanced stage. 
I believe he is the only one who has more information on this subject.
