You don't find many IIgs' for sale, certainly not with this kit installed!Hi, Mike, you're very lucky! Di you ask the seller the history of this GS. Mauro
When I picked it up, I did ask the seller if he was the original owner - but he said he was not. It had been boxed up and left in a corner at one of his workplaces for some time and he was told if he wanted it he could have it (so in actual fact, he got a better deal than me!).
But it would seem that he didn't know much about the Apple IIgs, and I'm not convinced he did much (if anything) with it at all since acquiring it.
Beyond that though, I don't know what it was used for. I don't even know what the buyer did for work. It *may* have been used in a hospital, as there is a sticker on one of the boxes (not the IIgs box) that suggests this.... but I'm not sure. It doesn't explain where the games come from though.
Maybe when I investigate the hard disk's contents I'll find some more clues...
