Depending on which bitstream you are using you probably have a synthesized Z80 running in the Carte Blanche. I don't know what would happen running two Z80s in the Apple II at the same time but I don't believe it would be good.
If you are seeing a "JAT" menu screen (on a VGA monitor) then you have a Z80 running on the Carte Blanche card.
