ayep, every time you change one little nit picky thing on a commercial
electronic product its pretty much got to go to testing for
certifications and go though your battery of internal test's as well

I dont know how anal the computer industry is about it, I imagine
pretty, but in automotive we changed 2 resistors and ended up with
thousands of hours of testing, and at least another 100 "prototypes"
