Re: Why doesn't the Apple II have a gaming community like C64, Atari, DOS, etc

Always thought it was strange (and maybe it's just my perception), but
the Apple II community seems very, very small in comparison to its

C64 has http://www.lemon64.com
Amiga has http://eab.abime.net/index.php
DOS and Atari have too many to count
But there really isn't any dedicated Apple II gaming forum even though
it had hundreds of games.

Alex Lee has http://www.whatisthe2gs.apple2.org.za/forums/ which
surprising is pretty quiet most of the time, although it's geared
toward the IIGS specifically. Any thoughts?

I saw my Apple][ machines as more of a general purpose machine. I was never really into dedicated gaming platforms. This said, most of the programs I had for my machines were games. The other programs I'd use over and over, but the games I'd play a couple of times and move on to the next one when I got bored.
