This is old news. You can get the 6502 from Western Design Center, but be aware, this CMOS-Version does not run properly on the Apple II, because of some timing problems. For the old Apple II, you still need the NMOS 6502, which is obsolete for many years.

IIRC, only the 1 MHz parts have the issue.

This is a 14 MHz part.
