Re: Esc-L for LIST?

A book that I was skimming over last evening, Applesoft BASIC for the Apple
II& IIe by Lois Graff, stated at least twice that I could press Escape,
then L to get a BASIC listing, but only on the Apple IIe. I had never heard
of this, so I got up to try it on the computer that I had set up then: the
Apple IIgs. It did not work.

Anyone know more about this Escape sequence?

I tried on Apple IIe, //c ROM35, IIgs ROM1, with Applesoft BASIC 1.5 and with integer basic: don't work. On the //c with integer basic, the escape key change the cursor into an inverse '+', then the following character seem to be interpreted as CTRL-(following key).
