Why not use Compact Flash for this (like the new CF on a card project
for the //e and //gs via IDE)?
Since we're only talking about the //c, //c+, and Laser clones what
would the fastest throughput
implementation be, even if it limited the number of available volumes?
Are we forever stuck with "not much faster than a floppy" for any
drive using the floppy connector?
I would think the flash media would be faster than magnetic even in
this situation.
