More Apple IIgs stuff for sale
Hello all,
Many of you may remember me from last August/September when I helped a
local school make some money by selling some Apple IIgs computers.
Word spread, and I recently received another load of Apple IIgs
equipment from another local school. The load is about the same size
as the previous school, and I was able to raise over $200.00 for the
previous school. I hope to equal that with this school, if possible
:-)...
I will be posting a final list, so please don't reply until I do that.
I just want to give people an idea of what's coming. I expect to
have testing completed by the end of the week...
- Apple IIgs CPU -- 20 to 25, mix of ROM 01 and ROM 3, maybe even some
ROM 01s! I didn't see any exotic cards, but most (even the ROM 3 CPUs)
had a full 1MB memory card in them...
- Apple IIgs monitors -- 20 to 25, some are missing signal cables. I
suspect I
left them behind at the school, but I need to check with them...
- Keyboards -- 15 + Apple IIgs keyboards... Some may be dead, as this
was a heavy-use environment :-)
- Mice -- No exact count, but I'm definitely short on these... I
suspect many went dead, and were just tossed....
- 3.5" and 5.25" floppies -- enough to give every CPU one of each
size. Again, I need to test them, as they were heavily used...
- A couple of Macintosh LC and LCII setups w/ monitor/keyboard/mouse
No software yet, but it was there, and they will be getting it to me
... Just a matter of time...
My standard deal is you pay a minimum donation of $5.00 for whatever
you want. Any extra money is up to you. I make NO profit from this,
and the donations are directly given back to the school. I am
voluteering my time, and absorbing labor costs, you pay for packaging
(box, foam, etc.) and postage in addition to your donation. I get to
keep some of the stuff, and I get the satisfaction of knowing this
stuff was saved from the landfill, and also that I am helping a local
school raise some money.
The computers will be shipped from Massachusetts, USA, ZIP code 01473.
Anyone who wants to come and pickup their order are more than welcome
to, and I do allow cherry-picking :-)
Again, over the next week I will be testing, sorting, and cleaning all
of this stuff up. When I am done, I will post a final list as a reply
to this message, and take orders. Any orders prior to my final list
will be bit-bucketed :-)
Thanks in advance!
