Apple files on PC

A friend has asked me to copy some Mac files from a floppy to a CD so he can
get his apple laptop going again (it doesn't have a floppy drive). I can't
find anything on the MS site to indicate that it is possible to read an
apple formatted disk on a PC. Is it? If it is, please tell me where I can
find the info . I need to copy the mac files from the floppy tro my HD,
then burn them to a CD.
