Not only that, but it takes more than just the appletalk protocol to get the
PC to be visible to the Mac.
In fact, it's what you use INSTEAD od TCP/IP. You still need to install
somrthing to emulate AFP on the win 2k box. Forget the name of the microsoft
product that does it, but it's an add on.
