Re: Looking for 7407N IC
I finally found a local source on Oahu for the 7407! :) It's an electronics
store in Honolulu that carries quite a bit of electronic parts. And it's
quite cheap...I think I paid 60-cents for it! The only bad things about the
store is that it closes at a very terrible time - 4:30pm (I get off of work
at 5:00pm).
BTW, I never explained what I needed it for... I found an AE Transporter PC
card with the proprietary PC drive connection. Looking around the web, I
found the schematics for an adapter that'll let me connect an ordinary PC
5.25" floppy drive to the card, and one of the required components was the
7407. I haven't started building it yet, but I have all the parts now. Has
anyone tried making this adapter?
