What about running CP/M on a IIgs using the 3.5 inch drives?
I don't know if there was a patch for CP/M to see the larger capacity
drives, though it wouldn't be too hard to implement.
There were patches for Apple2 CP/M to allow it to run with a 5MB
(or 10mb, I can't remember) Hard disk.
The AppleII oasis emulator supports a virtual harddisk on your PC.
Perhaps this might be an avenue to explore?
