The last few versions of the MacOS seem to baulk at writing to ProDOS
floppies. HFS 800k disks shouldn't be a problem for the Mac or the IIgs
if it has the HFS FST.

I'd guess that there's something wrong with the disk images.
GSHK doesn't really care where the disk images are located. I've had them
on CDs or hard drives, doesn't matter, as long as they're not on the floppy
you're trying to write to. Could also be hardware. You might try making a
disk image and turning it back into a floppy. If you can do that then thered
have to be something wrong with the images you downloaded. Either in
the download or in the transfer to the IIgs.
