The only time I had the MacIP Link Layer installed on my machine was
when Richard and Tony did a demo of it at KFest '99.  It worked for
the demonstration but they deleted it off my system at the end of the
session.  :)

I could pull out my video of that session and double check but I'm
pretty sure my IIgs was connected to a GatorBox (or whatever they are
called) to convert my serial connection into ethernet and that was
then plugged into a wireless ethernet system which broadcast the
signal to Tony's Mac in his dorm room which was connected to Avilas
ethernet network and thus to the internet.
