Re: GS Battery Change...
I recently did this myself this way:
1) Bought parts from www.allelectronics.com:
- 3.6v Battery (1/2 AA)
- 1/2 AA Battery Holder
2) Wired up the battery holder to a pair of short wires (had some old stuff lying
around) and some mini-alligator clips. I just twisted the wires to make contact.
3) Added a small piece of velcro tape (the kind sold in long strips at Radio Shack
or craft stores) to the bottom of the battery clip. Other side went under the
//gs power supply to hold the battery.
4) Held my breath & clipped the leads from my current battery soldered on the
mainboard.
5) Bent the remaining part of the leads gently out of the way
6) Fastened the alligator clips to the remaining leads & was home free!
I probably should have soldered the stuff down, but was worried about causing
other damage....
