Re: GBBS .. is it freeware/shareware or commercial?

Hi all;
Does anyone know the status of GBBS at the moment? Has it been released as
freeware/shareware/etc or is it still sold?

It is still commercial. At this point it is not being
sold, there are a few problems to be worked out
like the y2k problem. I have not had a lot of time
to deal with it since I have been on the road for the
better part of 3 years. I have tried doing work on it
while I traveled using ProTERM on my PowerBook,
then uploading the files to my system, deleting the
compiled files and then forcing them the new ones
to compile. No crashes lately, but the logon segment
can't be done this way. I have had a lot of
experiance doing this years ago when another SysOp
and myself helped a school located in Portland, Or.
Run their system, we upload and remote updated
all the time. If I can get my other programmer off
of his but we might even get it to work off of
a PC or Mac using a door program linking them via
a serial port.
