Re: GBBS .. is it freeware/shareware or commercial?

<<
Steven,

This is why I want GBBS - I have already written an application called
"BBSLink" that emulates a Hayes Compatible Modem and has a Telnet Server
built in. If anyone wants a beta copy, it should be online @
www.unnamedpcmuseum.com/bbslink in the next 24-48 hrs.

If you want you can e-mail me at applelite2@aol.com
and we can go over you doing some development on
the program. There has been no real interest in
running it for some years. There are a few systems
still up, but the end of Sprints PC Pursuit and the
end of any support from Apple has just about killed
any real uses. I bought the program some years ago
just hoping to just keep it alive, not to make any
money, but that would have been nice. I have sold
a total of 2 programs in 4 years and for nothing
near what Lance was getting for them. I would like
to see the program on the net, but I can't see how it
can run on an Apple II, unless what you have is a
driver. All the testing was done using a PC and
another BBS program with either AppleTalk or
Serial connections

Apple Elite II 909-359-5338. Home of GBBS/LLUCE, support for the
Apple II 24 hours 2400/14.4. An OggNet Server.
