Proline BBS On the Internet NEEDS YOUR HELP

Do you have experience with ProLine? Well - I don't!

I recently wrote a nice Windows app that allows non-static IP users to host
their own Telnet BBS on the net - and even moreso, allows you to use
authentic 8-bit machines! It uploads the status of the BBS to an FTP server
of your choice - you provide the username, password, hostname and path, and
it places a "default.htm" in the directory. This is optional, but it will do
it on a) connection, b) disconnection and c) shutdown. And simply, a null
modem connects the IIgs to the PC.

My Apple IIgs is currently online - go to http://www.unnamedpcmuseum.com/bbs
to see it's current status (whether it is available or not) and what IP
address it currently resides on.

Now my problem is that I have no experience with ProLine - I installed it ..
twice and configured it. I set up the Sysop name as "Avatar", naturally my
real name as "Anthony Beckett" and it has no provision for a password.
Anyone know what it is? If so, let me know, and feel free to hack away at
the BBS.

Local echo may be an issue for some users that only have the lame "telnet"
client. I will be writing a mod that allows you to enable it or disable it
prior to connection to the BBS. If anyone is interested in this software let
me know. If you can turn local echo off, that'll be good.. Hyperterminal by
default, turns off local echo.

I look forward to viewing the BBSLink logs to see the connections!
